About the Team:
Litera is looking for a strong Manager of Quality Assurance who will be responsible for establishing and implementing quality assurance and compliance processes for the application teams ensuring alignment with the company's goals and direction. As the Manager of QA, you will work closely with the team to develop, publish and implement QA standards and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manages, Coaches and Mentors a team of QA Engineers
  • Works with department leaders to define, maintain, and publish QA/Development metrics
  • Works with DevOps to ensure test environments are configured correctly for testing
  • Establishes and evolves formal QA processes, ensuring that the team is using industry-accepted best practices
  • Assures automated regression test cases are integrated as part of the build process
  • Commands a broad awareness of related projects
  • Communicates unacceptable risks to quality.
  • Improves standard operating procedures to ensure consistency in the way we test software.
  • Follows through and communicates design decisions to everyone on the team
  • Provides quality expertise to team members through education and review 
  • Encourages integration and promotes obtaining shared goals with members of team
  • Oversees the recruitment and talent identification process for the QA team
  • Grows the skills sets on the team along with setting overall expectations
  • Practices and teaches test automation and test-driven programming
  • Encourages integration and promotes obtaining shared goals with team members
  • Contributes to the success of a self-organizing team


Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of Software Quality Assurance with 1-3 Years of management experience
  • 5+ years of experience using test strategies, test automation frameworks and tools (i.e. Selenium, Robot, Nightwatch.js) and test methods
  • 5+ years of experience using a modern object-oriented language (example: C#, C++, or Java)
  • Experience with web service or API technologies like SOAP, REST, XML and JSON
  • Experienced in implementing testing and QA frameworks in Web Applications' domain using Agile methodologies
  • Exposure to DevOps tools like Azure DevOps, Bamboo, Jenkins
  • Experience leading multiple teams to move fast to deliver quality software
  • Comfortable leading, making decisions, solving problems, and organizing work for a team
  • Ability to listen, resolve conflict, and negotiate with a high level of influence and professionalism
  • Ability to enforce testing policies, procedures and standards across specific products
  • Excellent at multi-tasking and able to handle competing priorities
  • Solid knowledge of testing techniques to determine appropriate number of test iterations and applying risk-based testing concepts
