Mobile Developer – Android / Java Full Stack

We are looking for an Android Mobile Developer that can help us build amazing applications. The ideal candidate is a very technical, hands-on developer who has developed and architected sophisticated Android mobile applications for large companies.

Day to Day responsibilities

• Be a member of a growing team; and showcase your problem solving skills with clients every day
• Build beautifully designed applications that drive true impact on the way consumers live their daily lives
• Collaborate with team in learning areas and organize knowledge sharing, to the team, as well as with client leadership
• Componentize client’s Android application to create a central component repository that also supports federated development
• Initiate /Participate in design sessions for new features and produce relevant documentation coming out of those sessions
• Troubleshoot complex production issues, root cause analysis, and problem management
• Perform code fixes and enhancements, configuration updates, and production deployments    
• Be a leader in communication between local client, development teams, and offshore teams on a daily basis

Skills & Requirements

• Minimum of 2+ years experience in Mobile technologies. 4+ years of experience in an OOP Language (preferably Java)
• Ability to serve in a full stack role on both Android Java and the Java/J2EE platform
• Track record in the design and build of large-scale mobile solutions.
• Experience integrating mobile applications with external APIs/web services (XML, JSON, REST, SOAP, OAth, etc).
• Experience working in an agile environment and with service-oriented (SOA) and micro-services architectures.
• Experience with multi-tier system development for large enterprises
• Self starter who enjoys solving challenging technical problems
• An interest and knowledge of the latest industry trends and standards
• Bachelors’ in Computer Science or related field
