Job Description

Kranze Technology Solutions develops complex, customized cutting edge aircraft avionics hardware and software systems supporting survivability, situational awareness, interoperability, and data collection systems. KTS is seeking Mobile Device Engineers/Architects to work on new cutting edge solutions.

• Lead development and support to KTS' custom Mobile Device Manager and Android Agent for over 6,000+ devices using the Android Operating System ranging from Oreo, Android 9, Android 10, and beyond. These devices are used in tactical networks.
• Lead architecture development for new features such as multiple configurations, key management, certificate integration, and other features.
• Lead development of wireless and VPN integration for managed networks.
• Lead development, integration, and test activities for new features and improvements to the MDM and Agent.
• Lead integration of Samsung Knox environment and work spaces.
• Support production troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Focus on system security postures and improve architecture based on security scans.
• Identify and apply patches.
• Conduct standard change management for government approvals.

The candidate should be able to operate amongst a technical team to develop software solutions using the latest technologies. The candidate must have demonstrated software or systems development on various platforms and systems. The candidate must be able to work with limited supervision, contribute innovative ideas to improve product capabilities, and lead smaller integration efforts.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (preferred) in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with one or more years of work experience
• Proficient with Samsung Knox APIs and policies
• Proficient with Java on Android OS or iOS development platforms
• Experience with Windows, Mac OS X, and/or Unix
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to obtain Security Clearance, for which the United States Government requires United States citizenship
