Job Duties

Mobile QA Engineers for Chicago, IL location. Work with the Enterprise Quality Assurance team to ensure that a software product meets the needs specified in the requirements and analysis documents of the project. Review requirements and design documentation following standards for mobile development. Conduct and report the results of an acceptance test plan which is cost effective given the project risk. Perform software QA and automation framework development and testing for mobile and web applications on Android and iOS devices, including Parallel test execution, App migration testing, mobile web-links automation testing, Network and Service Issues testing, sauce labs cloud mobile testing. Write and execute automated functional test cases and define test automation strategies and design for applications under test. Create, maintain, execute and analyze test automation scripts, frameworks, programs and utilities. Collaborate with software engineering and quality assurance resources to resolve problems and identify root causes of product defects. Create progress report and report the status to Manager. Technical environment: Web-based and Mobile (Android and iOS) based 3-tier applications, iOS (Swift), Android, Java, Cloud testing framework including AWS, Xamarin, Cloud; Python, Appium, selenium, Robotium, Objective C, Xcode, Cucumber BDD framework, Junit, Testng, Maven, CI-Jenkins, ALM, JIRA, JMeter, Xcode, swift, SVN, Git, Agile methodology, Visual Studio Test automation & Performance tools, Load Runner, Jmeter, SOAP UI web services automation, Mobile Application Testing.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or any Engineering field plus two years of experience in the job offered or in software quality assurance testing OR Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or any Engineering field plus five years of progressive experience in the job offered or in software quality assurance testing required. Required Skills: hands on software QA and automation framework development and testing for mobile and web applications (Android and iOS), including Parallel test execution, App migration testing, and with Appium, Selenium, Cucumber BDD framework, Junit, Testing, Maven, CI-Jenkins, ALM, JIRA, JMeter, Xcode, swift, SVN, Git, Agile Methodology, Objective C, XCode, iOS, Robotium, Java, Python; testing for: mobile web-links automation, Network and Service Issues, sauce labs cloud mobile testing
