Position Summary
The Product Security Architect position at the Wintrust is a technical leadership role to develop strategic and technical solutions to drive maturity of the Wintrust's security program. As an Architect, you will be responsible to develop and implement information security solutions across all business units at Wintrust. You will work with business leaders, infrastructure and development organizations, and Risk & Governance to infuse information security controls into business and IT processes. In addition, as Information security SME, you will be threat modeling products and services to identify risk and participate in architectural reviews of products in internal development and 3rd party providers.
Responsibilities

• Understand, research, design and implement security solutions with the Wintrust product and services offerings across all business units, driving security architectures and supporting security strategy tailored to enterprise needs, with a focus towards secure software, SaaS and Microsoft's Office365 application suite
• Adapt hands-on approach with the Wintrust products and services implementation to define and deliver information security requirements and architectural solutions
• Develop and deliver product security roadmaps to support the progression of information security services within Wintrust
• Develop and validate authentication & authorization security configurations when applicable to Wintrust applications, 3rd party SaaS and PaaS platforms, and integrated multi-vendor environments
• Serve as a subject matter expert on cloud technologies and security with responsibilities to ensure enablement of robust security controls

Requirements

• 10+ years of overall Information security experience
• Detailed understanding of security architecture for infrastructure components as well as applications and data.
• In-depth knowledge Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and OWASP SAMM
• Hands-on experience of static, dynamic, and component analysis security tools
• In-depth knowledge of security protocols such as HTTPS, TLS, SSL, SSH, PKI, IPSEC, VPN and KMS
• Professional certifications in information technology and cloud security; CISSP preferred, optional certificates include: CCSP, CISA, CEH, OSCP; Azure Solutions Architect Certification, preferred but not required with demonstrated professional work experience
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to both non-technical business users as well as technical stakeholders is required
