Job Duties

Prepare and test telematics application software and related mobile applications of electronic estimating software, communications systems, workflow tools and internet and wireless-enabled technology solutions. Analyze, test and assist with the integration of new applications and oversee the documentation of testing activity. Create, maintain and execute test automation scripts and collaborate with software engineering to resolve problems and identify root causes of product defects. Perform software development lifecycle testing, test plans and strategies. Set scope and strategy for test plans, review functional specifications and create progress reports on projects. Prepare, execute and review test plans, scripts and all other related project testing documentation. Create test plans, test strategies, test scripts, traceability matrix and identify test coverage. Technical environment: Agile methodology, TDD or BDD methods, Python, Perl, Robot Framework, DHC, Hudson, GIT, Behave, Cucumber, SQL Server, My SQL, Rest Client, Selenium, QTP, Test Complete, RFT, Javascript, JAVA, Shell scripting, Agile, scrum, Kanban, querying relational DBs using SQL, risk based testing, regression testing, data driven test automation, version control.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology plus three years of experience in the job offered or in software quality assurance testing OR Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology plus five years of progressive experience in the job offered or in software quality assurance testing required.

Required Skills: software development lifecycle testing, test plans and strategies; regression testing, Rest Client, SQL Server, My SQL, Agile, scrum, Kanban, querying relational DBs using SQL, risk based testing, data driven test automation, version control.
