POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for creating automated tests on computer applications to isolate and solve issues, initiates tests, analyzes results, and document and report anomalies and issues. To make sure that testing is well defined, planned and executed. The developer does this by ensuring that every phase and feature of the software solution is tested and that any potential issue is identified and fixed before the product goes live.
Fundamental Components:
Design and execute test scripts in Ranorex.
Develop software testing framework in C# using .Net
Extend existing applications to enhance automated testing ability.
Detect and report software failures so that defects may be discovered and corrected.
Develop and document application test plans based on software requirements and technical specifications.
Required Skills:
Experience with .NET framework
C# or similar languages such as Java.
Experience with SQL Server.
Strong attention to detail

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE Required
Experience with .NET framework
Experience creating automation framework from scratch.
Experience testing the core code by making calls directly to the methods.
Experience with BDD Frameworks.
Experience with the Gherkin Language.
C# or similar languages such as Java.
Experience with SQL Server.

EDUCATION
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science equivalent experience.
