What You Will Do:

The Shelby Group is seeking an experience QA engineer to lead the software QA function in support of the development efforts of The Shelby Group’s product - Digital Invoice. 

  • Establish testing procedures, protocols, tools, scripts, and controls to test Digital Invoice.
  • Executes testing procedure to test new functions, business continuity, and regression testing.
  • Provides guidance in the creation of standard test environments, tests plans and test scripts. Provides direction on automation framework/tools/automation targets.
  • Provides technical expertise to client and IT management and staff regarding the design and implementation of quality application software and systems.
  • Utilizes critical thinking skills by identifying and resolving risks and issues in a proactive manner. Is able to balance attention to detail with the strategic view.
  • Suggests process improvements and steps for successful implementation; is able to lead stretch assignments associated with department goals.
  • Deliver accurate and maintainable code for test automation and software utilities

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • 5 years of experience as a QA Engineer.
  • Knowledge and understanding of testing methodologies.
  • Experience using testing tools to help establish the testing management, build functions and execute.
  • Experience in Agile and DevOps methodology, using tools like Git, Bitbucket Jenkins, SonarCube, etc.
