The Role:

We are looking for a talented QA Test Engineer with strong analytics, problem solving, and communication skills to join us and be part of this exciting journey! Responsibilities:
- Review business and functional requirements to produce test strategies, test plans, and test scripts and other testing artifacts for each test cycle
- Develop and maintain manual and automated tests
- Identify dependencies and risks, define the test strategy for integrated systems
- Perform all aspects of verification- functional, regression, system testing, backend validation and user experience
- Troubleshoot software/hardware configuration problems
- Coordination with geographically distributed teams
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or similar
- 3+ years of experience in manual testing
- 2+ years of experience in open source test automation frameworks including Selenium, Cucumber and Java, Appium or equivalent scripting language and tools
- Experience in developing test plans and protocols
- Experience in identifying operational issues, recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems
- Experience with REST API testing, REST API automation will be a plus
- Experience with mobile, ETL and IOT testing will be a plus
- Experience with middle layer/service layer testing and simulation for verifying different end points will be a plus
- Basic experience with Maven/Jenkins/Bamboo/Azure for CI/CD
- Ability to multi-task several testing activities simultaneously
- Previous experience working in Agile methodology is preferred
- Experience working with Jira, Xray and Git will be a plus
- Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus
Work Location: Chicago (At least 1-2 days per week required to be in office)
