QA Job Responsibilities

Majority:

• Testing new feature branches manually for functionality matching the JIRA ticket.
• Final checks on multiple environments for new feature functionality correctness.
• Discussions with developers on their new feature branches.
• Meet with the support team to assess severity Zen-Desk tickets.
• Investigation and resolution escalated Zen-Desk tickets per request of support agents.
• Create bug tickets from the conclusion of the assessment of Zen-Desk tickets and general bugs discussed with support agents.
• Resolve service desk tickets assigned for querying information within the database(s).

Minority:

• Assessing the quality of Junit/Selenium tests that are written by developers
• Active discussion with developers on their quality of unit tests
• Providing & presenting changes to unit tests
• Stress testing with Gatling Stress Test Tool
