Hello, Ruby Developer!        

Freeosk Inc. is searching for a full-time, Chicago-based Ruby Developer.  In this role, you’ll focus your time and effort building out our proprietary tool, the Webport.  We are looking for someone who enjoys sharing their knowledge, learning new things, collaborating, and brainstorming with an Agile team.

Some of the key responsibilities you’ll have include:

• Extend and maintain a mature and tested Rails application that uses technology such as Sidekiq, ThinkingSphinx and various API integrations
• Work with the development team to design and deliver new technical solutions
• Write tests (Rspec, FactoryBot, Capybara, etc.)
• Perform code reviews
• Participate in all team activities such as sprint planning, story time and retrospectives

About you:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 2+ years using Ruby on Rails
• Experience working with Git and MySQL
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize daily activities based on project goals
