Relativity is looking for an experienced Salesforce Technical Manager to join the Business Systems and Applications team. In this role, you will use your technical expertise and business acumen to build customer-centric experiences across Salesforce and other key business systems. You will lead and manage a team of engineers, define development standards and best practices, and work with our product managers and delivery teams from ideation through delivery. The ideal candidate succeeds and enjoys working in a fast paced, dynamic environment, and thrives on being transparent, collaborative, solving the hard problems, being hands on, and providing direction, mentorship, and coaching to the team.

Responsibilities

  • Own the overall solution architecture and oversight for delivery of projects involving the Salesforce suite of tools and ensure that the implemented solutions align with business strategies and requirements
  • Manage and mentor the development of a team of engineers, including goal setting, continuous training, continuous coaching, and continuous feedback
  • Work with the business stakeholders and business service managers to ensure that business needs are prioritized, understood, and supported in a timely matter
  • Collaborate with key business stakeholders to translate business strategies and objectives into capabilities and present solution concepts for input, buy-in, and sign off
  • Lead and/or sessions for key stakeholders across business units to align on journey experiences and cross business project dependencies and execution sequence
  • Work directly on issues of the highest complexity and strategic value where analysis of situation and/or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including a holistic understanding of processes followed by various business units
  • Own the Salesforce architecture, application lifecycle management, and development coding standards, policies, and best practices
  • Analyze the latest trends and technologies related to the process areas, enterprise data, integration, etc., and apply to business problems
  • Look, and implement for opportunities to optimize processes and frameworks that are followed for delivering solutions in an effort to increase productivity and reduce time to market

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, business administration, or related area
  • At least 10 years of defining, influencing and implementing enterprise solutions
  • At least 5 years of proven experiencing implementing solutions in Salesforce Sales Cloud, Salesforce Service Cloud, and/or Salesforce Community Cloud
  • Proficiency developing in Apex, Lightning, Visualforce, D/HTML, CSS. Javascript, and other technologies
  • Experience with SQL Server, Azure Cloud, SOQL, and SOSL queries
  • Excellent understanding of object-oriented concepts and design patterns, as well as prior work with OO languages (Java, Ruby, C#, C++, etc)
  • Experience working in a continuous integration environment - Salesforce.com Certified Administrator or equivalent experience
  • Salesforce.com Platform Developer certification or equivalent experience
  • Experience with Agile implementation methodologies
  • Ability to investigate cross-functional business processes and envision the possibility of new or optimized business needs
  • Ability to work effectively and manage partnerships with all areas and members of the business
  • Ability to present complex ideas in a clearly and concisely to technical and non-technical audiences

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior ScrumMaster
  • Experience with front-end testing frameworks (Selenium, Jasmine, etc)
  • Salesforce Service Sales or Service Consultant certification is a plus
  • Atlassian Jira administration experience is a plus
