Responsibilities

• As a Senior Cloud Automation Engineer at 10^th Magnitude, you will plan, analyze, design and deploy enterprise-scale Azure infrastructure solutions.
• You will review and manage technical requirements and business functional requirements for establishing new Azure platforms.
• In this role, you will provide input to improve scalability and reliability of infrastructure to our clients.
• You will design, build and support advanced cloud automation workflows and tools used to support automated CI/CD pipeline application deployments into Azure.
• You will provide guidance and direction to client teams in regard to DevOps processes and technical/pipeline standards.

Experience

• A passion for problem solving and learning new technologies
• 2+ years of experience with infrastructure automation tools (CFEngine, Chef, Ansible and Puppet)
• Thorough understanding of configuration management concepts
• Expertise with system automation scripting (Ruby preferred)
• Experience using Infrastructure as Code techniques and tools, such as Cucumber, serverspec or minitest
• 5+ years system administration and/or software engineering experience
• Linux or Windows OS; experience with mixed environments a plus
• Well versed in Internet architectures, including web, application and database components. Solid understanding of systems monitoring, alerting and analytics
• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as a Service technologies (Amazon EC2, Windows Azure, etc.)
