What You'll Do

As an iOS developer, you will work with the rest of our team to implement new features and improve existing ones. You’ll drive our understanding of Swift forward, and help us to adopt best practices as they emerge and change. You’ll be motivated by empathy with our users to build excellent software.

• Debug and maintain code written in Objective C and Swift.
• Review PRs, providing and receiving thoughtful feedback.
• Contribute excellent code to new features, supporting accessibility and design priorities.
• Work with our product team to plan and prioritize upcoming feature work that will help parents and caregivers connect and work together.
• Participate in weekly planning, grooming and retrospectives, and provide estimates for the scope of tickets.
• Collaborate with our services team to craft and integrate against APIs.

About You

• 3+ years of mobile development experience, with apps in the App Store.
• Experience with Swift and RxSwift, with a deep understanding of reactive patterns.
• Interest in mentoring and learning from fellow team members.
• Familiarity with Apple’s ecosystem, including subscriptions and in-app purchase.

Bonus points for:

• Contributing to Swift or RxSwift open source projects
• Integration test experience in Xcode
• Android experience
• Experience with TensorFlow or MLKit
• Experience with rich media
