Position Overview

Reporting into the QA Manager, the Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer is a vital role to ensure success for each version release of CloudCraze, the company’s enterprise-class SaaS package. The candidate will work closely with product owners, developers, and fellow testers to implement quality measures into our development sprint cycles as well as in post development regression testing. Qualified individuals must be experienced in developing automated tests and test pipelines. Strong automated testing experience combined with collaborative effort in a fast-paced environment is essential.

Responsibilities:

• Develop automated test strategies across multiple products. Own and manage the execution of those strategies.
• Work with QA Analysts to identify which test scripts should be automated.
• Create and update existing test scripts, functional unit tests, and testing related frameworks due to changes in product functionality.
• Work with Product Management, QA Analysts, and Engineering to define non-functional requirements related to data scale, expected system performance, and volume elated load testing across multiple products.
• Architect, design, develop (with assistance) all necessary tools required for automated testing and performance testing.
• Write regression tests for new features, enhancements to existing features, and bug fixes.
• Verify that products meet user needs and expectations on desktop and mobile.
• Document thoroughly any issues found with screenshots and steps to reproduce.
• Report results from automated test runs to management.
• Work and act as a member of a team during sprints and release cycles, focusing on testing and quality assurance work.
• Adhere to Agile software development methodologies and CloudCraze development best practices.

Requirements:

• Passion for testing and finding bugs!
• Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical team members on progress, new ideas and challenges related to testing
• Technical ability demonstrated through experience or education (e.g. Coding school, BS in Computer Science or other engineering degree)
• Eye for detail, ability to spot ambiguity, inconsistency and contradictions
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Demonstrated ability or experience testing across multiple browsers and versions as well as desktops, tablets, and mobile
• Comfortable with the following:
  • Selenium
  • Node
  • Jenkins or similar
  • Git or similar
  • Website testing

Desired:

• 4+ years hands on QA experience with web applications
• Familiarity with Salesforce and building managed packages
• Experience in the e-Commerce domain
• Familiarity writing BDD style tests in Gherkin
• com professional certification(s)
• Experience using Command line tools
• REST API testing
• Familiarity with Sauce Labs or BrowserStack
• Familiarity with Ant/Grunt/Gulp are a plus
• Hands-on experience with integrations/integration testing is also a plus
