As the Senior Security Analyst you will act as the company’s subject matter expert on all IT risk and security initiatives. You will be tasked with developing information technology solutions by leading and evaluating the security components of architecture and compliance in key cyber areas such as cloud security, IAM, application vulnerability management, and/or data protection. You will also be instrumental in leading the organization’s vendor diligence program, managing our run book, and contributing technical evidence to our annual 3rd party audits.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Implements and manages the company’s information security strategies, both short and long-term.
  • Leads analysis of company’s vulnerabilities and mitigates that risk by overseeing vulnerability scans, PEN testing efforts, and WAF configuration
  • Team Lead for the company’s PCI-DSS assessment and SOC audit by working with external auditors and internal stakeholders to gather and upload evidence and resolve remediation issues identified by auditors.
  • Perform all tasks associated with our vendor security management program (e.g., rewards program partners, credit card issuers).
  • Evaluate potential security incidents and assist the team in diagnosing issues, determining reporting responsibilities (if any), and providing subject matter expertise to the incident response team.
  • Lead the company’s evaluation of security of the company’s current and proposed technologies and tools with the goal being to make recommendations to internal business leads and our Senior Leadership team
  • Administer and monitor the company’s security-related tools
  • Explain technical security concepts to a broad audience, including non-security and non-technical team members 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or other technology-related discipline
  • At minimum 4 years of varied information technology experience
  • Two years of direct experience in information security-related duties is required
  • Preference for candidates that have experience within the financial services industries and/or technology industries
  • Applicable experience includes, but is not limited to, computer and networking infrastructure, operating systems, application software development, project management, regulatory compliance, risk
  • Advanced knowledge of hardware and security software systems is required.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical skills and proficiency in writing technical specifications are required
  • Strong preference for candidates that have prior assessment, audit and application-level security experience
