We are currently looking to hire an Sr Software developer to join our team in Chicago, IL.

Every project will be different, but you’ll always be responsible for:

• Develop middleware services and application components for high performance, high data volume applications using MicroServices, REST APIs, Spring, and Java. 
• Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle including analysis, design, development, integration and implementation. 
• Use Spring MVC and Spring REST for development.
• Use JQuery and Spring validation framework for front-end validations. 
• Participate in problem resolution, fixing bugs for each release in UAT, production and QA environments and providing support to end users.
• Integrate code with the front-end, backend and database components, and coordinate with various teams and architects as required. 
• Design best-in-class architecture and solutions for connecting the backend to the front end. 
• Write unit test cases and perform integration testing. 
• Manage the release process for assigned projects. 
• Perform code reviews. 
• Gather and understand new requirements. 
• Manage COB environment. 
• Work on defects, wellness, and mandates.

Education and Experience Required:

• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or a related field and 48 months of experience
