You are passionate about and experienced in backend technologies and familiar with most of the skills listed here, as well as excited to professionally develop in others. You know that maintainable and scalable technical design can meaningfully impact patient experience and client outcomes.   

Job Responsibilities

• Help us activate every patient to get the care they need at the appropriate clinical service throughout their care journey. Drive smart approaches and technical solutions to solve complex healthcare problems  
• Lead and own epic-level work and collaborate with product managers and other development leaders to break down complexity into simple, logical, and well-defined work items
• Build, maintain, and educate on foundational platform technologies 
• Seek out, learn, and disseminate new and relevant organizational technologies and practices 
• Be a leader within the mentorship process and positively influence its effectiveness 
• Actively participate in code reviews to ensure the quality of software that we are delivering 
• Own adherence to Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement and sprint planning 

Qualifications

• You are a talented engineer with at least 5+ years of software development experience with a proven track history of delivering great experiences to customers
• You are truly passionate about software engineering, with a strong emphasis on agile development, and are eager to work full stack to deliver a great e2e experience
• You can empathize with our end-users’ needs and want to engage to help define their key experiences
• Strong communication skills that enable you to communicate technical value to business stakeholders 
• You are passionate about engineering culture and velocity, driving a culture of rapid, responsible iteration with our incredibly engaged (and growing!) client base
• You are a great collaborator and partner, and proactively seek to build productive win-wins across teams
• You have an empathetic, global mindset that prizes diversity of thought, cultures, and backgrounds
