At Seismic, our architects play a key role in leading the development and execution of technical strategies and programs. They are hands-on technologists that enjoy exploring emerging technologies, prototyping and developing proof of concepts, as well as technical leadership. They collaborate deeply with engineering in an agile software development life cycle and provide guidance in improving code quality for product at scale.

We have multiple openings across several key product areas including software cloud architecture, machine learning/artificial intelligence, search, and content management.

What you'll need to be successful:

• Strong depth of knowledge in object-oriented programming (preferably C#, but also Java, C++, etc.)
• A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science
• 7+ years of experience software development experience for web-based products at scale
• 3+ years of enterprise software architecture
• 3+ years of technical leadership, ideally with some exposure leading off shore teams
• Strong ability to communicate concisely and with precision
• Experience leading innovation and prototype development highly preferred
• Experience with cloud-based technologies
