Responsibilities
Participate in the planning, analysis, and design of software applications.
Build high-performance, scalable web applications and APIs.
Create clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
Thrive in a team environment where feedback is embraced.
Requirements
Experience building and shipping web applications in a major MVC framework (1-3+ years)
Intermediate to advanced language mastery of at least one of Ruby, Python, Golang, Java.
Competency with web frontend technologies: JavaScript, CSS, and HTML
Experience with data modeling and SQL literacy preferred
Experience with major JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular or Vue a plus
Strong command of object-oriented programming patterns
Experience working within an Agile team
Experience applying test-driven development and other development best practices
Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of the entire application development process, including testing, build, deploy, and maintenance
Strong communication skills
Prior start-up experience is a plus
Nice to have: competencies with Redis, Elasticsearch, Postgres, AWS services.
