Description

Network Administrator plays a critical role in providing a highly available computing environment for SurePayroll's customers and internal users.

• Installs new / rebuild existing servers and configures hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements.
• Deploys Product and Marketing code to multiple environments on a regular basis to deliver new features to our customers. Maintains infrastructure for automated deployments.
• Provides 24 x 7 coverage on all Production and select non-Production hardware and software related issues including problem alerting, analysis, resolution, and follow up to ensure stable ongoing systems uptime.
• Designs and implements new multi-level application architectures, including Servers, software, networking, appliances, load balancing, security, virtualization and storage.
• Applies various Server, Hypervisor, and Appliance patches and upgrades to the entire environment on a regular basis and upgrades administrative tools and utilities which are used to support the Environment.
• Provides 3rd level support for Desktop hardware and software issues, user administration, and VPN connectivity.
• Generates and maintains system configuration diagrams and documentation for use in day to day system management and capacity planning.
• Analyzes, and reports information on system resource usage to management to ensure the systems are operating at proper capacity.
• Sets up and troubleshoots fundamental networking/distributed computing environments in SurePayroll local area networks for server communication in order to resolve or predict communications issues.
