Job Description Summary
The Software Engineer will join the Products & Technology Parts Team working on new, emerging, and existing software products. The Software Engineer will leverage their knowledge of analysis, design, coding, testing, and maintenance of software applications to develop, enhance, and modify CCC applications. The Software Engineer is expected to be involved in and assist with the conceptualization of software solutions at both the unit level, i.e., program module, and at the system level, i.e., integrated applications. They must demonstrate an understanding of the latest development environments including development tools and applications.
Job Duties

  • Codes/Designs J2EE software applications
  • Participates in functional and technical discussions
  • Develops detailed technical analysis and design specifications based on functional requirements
  • Research technical solutions to business problems
  • Participates in creating and executing integration level test plans
  • Creates and executes unit test plans
  • Supports post deployment and defect fixing
  • Collaborates with the broader Agile team on a day-to-day basis

Qualifications

  • 3+ years' experience developing Java/J2EE applications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering Business Administration, or a related field Experience in building Enterprise applications and web services in Open-Source Framework
  • Experience in utilizing technologies including Java, J2EE, JBOSS, SQL, HTML, CSS, AJAX, Spring, Hibernate, JavaScript frameworks
  • Experience in building UI Portal and application using Javascript frameworks like Vuejs, React or Angular
  • Familiar with database concepts, Oracle SQL
  • Experience with No Sql Databases like DynamoDB or MongoDB
  • Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals such as algorithms and data structures.
  • Experience in unit testing with Junit

  • Hudson (Jenkins) or other Continuous Integration technologies
  • Working in Agile environments
  • Test Driven Development
