DESCRIPTION

Seismic is looking for a Software Engineer .Net that will work collaboratively within an agile software development team to expand and improve our SaaS product suite. This individual will be challenged to make a positive impact on our product, while advancing our technical architecture and improving our continuous delivery capabilities. 

SCOPE OF ROLE

Perform hands on development as part of an agile team. Involvement in all phases of the development lifecycle, including: product solutioning, technical design and architecture, implementation, testing, deploying, and maintaining.
REQUIREMENTS

Must Have:

• Experience building applications in Java or .NET (preferred). .NET Core a plus
• A quality driven approach to development with a desire to keep things simple
• Enjoy collaborating with and mentoring colleagues
• Passionate about technology and learning new things
• Desire to make continuous improvements to teams and technology

Good to Have:

• Experience working as a software engineer in an agile environment
• Experience with quick iterations and continuous delivery of working software
• Experience building, and supporting production software in a cloud environment
• Experience with SaaS application development
• Experience with Inversion of Control or Dependency Injection
• Experience building event driven, resilient systems

Nice to Have:

• Experience with SOLID
• Experience with TDD
• Experience building architectures in AWS or Azure
• Experience working with CI/CD tools
