Role

EMX Digital is looking for an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to play a critical role in building out maintain, optimize and innovate our core advertising technologies. As an Integrations Engineer, you will spend your days navigating the Ad Tech stack troubleshooting how our clients interact with our advertising systems as well as creating and innovating new ways for these systems to collaborate. Working in an Agile environment, you will work with your team on existing integrations and client relationships to improve or fix how they relate and then take those ideas to our technology to continue to help us solve the industry’s concerns.

The position focuses on being cutting edge by being on the front lines and then letting that experience inform how we move forward. You’ll work closely with our Applications engineers as well as with Integration Specialists and Account Managers to stay closely involved in the goings on.

Responsibilities

• Build out production monitors and internal dashboards to ensure the stability and health of our production systems
• Develop alerting systems to proactively notify engineering and DevOps teams when unusual activity is detected in our systems
• Partner with engineering and DevOps teams to improve our software development lifecycle

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience using combinations of JavaScript, Node, Python, PHP, React, Vue, Angular, PostgreSQL, MYSQL, and AWS Products
• Experience monitoring complex, scalable, high-frequency applications
• Strong foundation in computer science, with competencies in data structures, algorithms, databases, software design, and DevOps
• Ability to communicate clearly with engineering and product management
• AdTech industry experience highly desired, but not required
• Familiarity with SQL and/or Kibana for reporting and analysis
