We're looking for a full-stack, backend-focused software engineer to join our small team. Help us disrupt health care as we know it. Ideally you have a few years of experience writing scalable production worthy code. We run a service-oriented architecture communicating via a mix of HTTP and messaging. We integrate near real-time with hospitals to provide patient analytics, improve care management, and deliver business intelligence to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Designs, implements, and delivers complex, reusable architectures that pioneer best practices for their peers.
- Actively contributes to the adoption of software architecture, best practices, and technologies.
- Advocates for the maintaining and improvement of Prepared Health’s non-functional requirements including performance, testability, scalability, and maintainability.
- Works closely with DevOps and Data Scientists to ensure high levels of application stability and data reporting.
You should have:
- A love of learning, particularly with picking up new technologies
- A strong desire to solve problems.
- 3+ years experience developing, testing, monitoring, and debugging highly scalable applications.
- A strong familiarity with a modern object-oriented language, such as Java or C#.
- High competency in designing and building robust REST APIs.
- Experience in development with a cloud environment, AWS or GCP preferred
- Some experience with Docker
