What You’ll Do

The Senior Engineer (frontend) is responsible for building high quality software that our clients will love using. This begins with architecture planning, and finishes with the development and deployment of great code. Clear communication and dedication to the success of our mobile and web apps will be vital to the success of the team as well as lulafit in general.

How You’ll Do It

• Own frontend applications from architecture through to deployment.
• Stay attuned and leverage, emerging trends and best practices for frontend architecture and development.
• Work closely with Product/Design/Data team members from ideation to implementation to make product decisions. 
• Mentor and support other engineers on the team, advocating for and implementing frontend best practices.
• Collaborate on solutions with the team through Slack, PR.

Desired Skills & Experience 

• Either a CS degree or a bootcamp Certificate
• 5+ years of relative experience building large-scale, consumer-facing products, including experience developing within a team atmosphere
• Highly proficient with modern javascript front-end frameworks across mobile and web (React, React Native, Next, Typescript, cypress, etc.)
• Comfortable developing as a team with Git/version control
• You are comfortable working with Node. Is or Java back-ends, integrating with 3rd party APIs, and understanding API architectural patterns. 
• Knowledge of common database systems (Postgres, MySQL) 
• Experience with front-end analytics and A/B testing to drive product decisions.
