As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be part of a highly skilled software engineering team responsible for developing products for the mobile security space. We are seeking a candidate with a proven rigor of QA (BVT, Regression testing, new test plan/cases and updating those plans), distributed systems experience, knows how to work with node, can look at a bash script and though not be a wizard at bash be able to modify/customize, manual and some automation skills to work with the engineering and product teams to build system-level test automation, execute automated tests and perform manual tests as it relates to usability and overall UX. The successful candidate will work as part of a team in order to:

• Design, develop, implement and improve test methodologies, test plans and test cases
• Perform manual and automated functional and full system tests for NowSecure’s security products
• Review bug descriptions, functional requirements and design documents
• Work in an agile/iterative environment
• Create, deploy and maintain automated system tests to replicate real-world scenarios

Experience Required:

• 4+ years of working on progressively more complicated projects 
• Troubleshooting skils - diagnose where things are breaking (and why)
• Detail oriented - digs deep into issues
• Proven problem solver - can come up with workarounds to get unblocked
• Experience working in a REST API first development environment
• 2+ years experience in Software Quality Assurance and/or software development experience
• 2+ years experience testing distributed applications/services
• 2+ years experience working with one or more common Internet protocols such as IP, TCP, HTTP/S, DNS, FTP, and/or SSL
• 1+ year experience with Linux and command line instructions
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Strong communication skills, highly driven, positive attitude, self-motivated and very flexible
• Ability to work independently, and with a team

Preferred Candidates Will Possess experience in:

• Github
• Frameworks like selenium, nightmare.js, xctest, UIAutomation, Appium
• Developing and maintaining test automation scripts, libraries and frameworks
• Security software
• Experience working with remote development teams
• Experience with continuous integration systems like Jenkins
• Experience with Linux internals
• Experience with client/server testing
• Experience working with scripting languages such as Python and PHP
