You will:

·  Design improvements to our high availability eCommerce Platform as a Service (PaaS).

· Design improvements to our android-based restaurant systems.

·  Design reusable data models and implement those models in relational and non-relational databases.

·  Provide technical leadership to software engineers.

·  Contribute to the codebase and debug the hardest problems.

·  Communicate directly with business stakeholders.

You have:

·  A BS or higher in Computer Science or a related engineering field (MS preferred)

·  10+ years of experience as a software engineer

·  4+ years of experience with node.js

·  An outstanding ability to simplify complex problems and communicate them to others

·  A demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges

·  In-depth hands-on work experience with large-scale implementations of GCP, AWS, or Azure

·  Experience designing and documenting REST apis

·  Experience deploying microservice based SaaS or PaaS applications in a public cloud

·  Internationalization experience

·  Experience with agile methodologies, tools, and CI/CD tools and processes

·  Experience designing high-availability applications

·  Experience with message streaming architectures

· Experience with unit testing and/or Test Driven Development (TDD)

· Experience with DevOps technologies (docker, AWS, apigee, CI/CD)

We prefer to see:

·  eCommerce experience 

·  Distributed Systems experience 

·  Multi-tenant systems experience 

·  Couchbase experience
