Sr Lead, SW Bus Systems WM Investment/Trust & Advisory Development

Wealth Management Technology leadership is looking for a senior lead Software Business/Systems analyst to join its recently created Trust and Advisory Development team. Wealth Management Trust and Advisory Development team is now responsible for all business applications development and integration used by the WM's Front Office (Trust and Wealth Advisors) partners including trading, investing, asset allocation, advisory, etc.

ROLE:

This role will support WM Business, Product, Control and Technology and interact Operations and Cash Movement teams and Application development teams. The ideal candidates will possess excellent leadership and communication skills coupled with a solid understanding and desire to learn cutting edge technologies, custom application development using Microsoft, PCF, etc technologies and digital engineering disciplines.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Partner with Trust and Advisory (T&A) Business Partners to gather and distill process requirements into effective user stories and build increments

• Gather, create and document current and future business process flows

• Conduct analysis of existing processes & systems specifications and use analysis / diagramming tools to represent business / technical processes.

• Facilitate prioritization of process development backlog, ensure it aligns with overall T&A and digital strategy, and track process/product accountability across multiple projects/missions.

• Resolve product risks, issues and interdependencies; facilitating business partners needs and development teams, with overall responsibility for the delivery of the product Sprints.

• Be responsible for holistic product value delivery, for example, manual process automation, reducing time-to-market or reducing development cost.

• Operate on Agile team(s); work with cross-functional teams and/or take on the role of designer, architect, developer and tester, taking action where needed for best outcomes until the full team is formed.

• Integrate usability studies and research into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction and ensure customer driven design

• Align outward-facing product requirements and stakeholders; Facilitate release planning with stakeholders

• Research any rules that might impact solution delivery, such as compliance, data governance, or organizational mandates

• Organize and facilitate team to critically review current processes for effectiveness, quality and simplification and identify implementation requirements requiring collaboration and support from cross functional stakeholders/business partners

• Identify and deliver process improvement solutions across complex, technical, and cross-functional processes

SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:

• 12+ years of Application Analysis, Development & Support experience using modern technical frameworks and architecture, including experience collaborating with external technology teams.

• Support experience with multi-channel applications (web, mobile, API, etc.).

• Understanding of the Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) and/or other methodologies

• Experience working on projects in an Agile environments

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, along with a solid technical background are essential as is the ability to multitask in a fast paced environment. The ideal candidate can explain technical issues in layman's terms and translate business needs to technology teams and back.

• Strong leadership and team player to work as part of a global support team, cross training and supporting multiple critical Wealth and Enterprise applications

• Experience working effectively with diverse groups around the world, including IT management, technology staff, business partners, consultants, vendors and clients
