Position Details:

Test Automation Engineer Senior with CSG Systems Inc. d/b/a CSG International (Chicago, IL)

Leadership role in increasing percentage of automated versus manual test cases by designing, developing, testing, and deploying test automation solutions and software test plans to identify software problems and their causes. Design and develop automation scripts and maintain and enhance acceptance test-driven automation framework and automated regression test bed current and functional. Train and mentor junior test automation engineers in performing testing and debugging tasks according to company's QA process. Conduct code reviews and train junior test automation engineers on new coding and testing methodologies and guidelines. Assign and assist in validating work. Research, evaluate and implement automated testing tools and utilities. Recognize areas in need of improvement and solve complex problems related to interconnected software components. Work as part of a scrum team in an agile environment. [Position does not have any supervisory responsibilities - no hiring and firing ability.]        

Requires Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or related field. Five years post-bachelor’s progressive experience is required which must include some experience with: C#, .NET; testing JSON APIs and web services in a backend environment; SOAP UI or PostMan API testing tool; continuous integration; automated tools; selenium; SQL; Specflow or Cucumber or Gherkin; Git Hub; and enterprise multi-tier systems.
