Title: Vice President, Enterprise Architecture
Location: Treehouse (Chicago)
Role Description:
The Vice President of Enterprise Architecture reports to the Chief Information Officer of the company and is responsible for creating and executing a holistic enterprise systems architecture and roadmap that is able to meet business needs and scale up as the business continues to grow. This role will be responsible for building and leading a team of architects responsible for the design of architectural solutions and adherence to standards across multiple application areas.
Core Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with product management teams, develop an architecture roadmap focussed on patient experience, business growth, clinical operations, data integration and multi-channel deployment
  • Develop, lead, and implement a strategic, integrated, architectural vision for technology systems across the enterprise with a focus on delivering value to our patients, ease of use for our users and scalability as we grow the business
  • Provide diligence and integration assessments for new business portfolio acquisitions
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders and leaders within the organization to efficiently implement user experiences that are cohesive, inclusive, and well-informed
  • Demonstrate broad architecture and solutions design leadership to impact significant technical direction, exert influence outside of the immediate team, and drive change
  • Collaborate with the portfolio management team to design and improve the technology intake process that includes high level solution design and effort estimation enabling prioritization decisions
  • Monitor the evolving market landscape and make strategic recommendations to drive innovation and business impact
  • Manage, mentor, and provide architectural guidance to multiple development and product teams
  • Other duties as assigned

We are looking for:

  • A hands-on technology leader with deep expertise in enterprise systems architecture, solution design, integration design, new product assessments and new technology assessments
  • Deep domain expertise and experience in developing and operating enterprise solutions
  • Strong understanding of current technology frameworks, architecture, design principles/best practices, solution design and operations
  • Strong understanding and experience in DevOps techniques
  • Ability to work effectively as an organizer and influencer across multiple technology and business functional units
  • Demonstrated success with managing multiple product life cycles or projects
  • Experience pioneering development plans and aligning business strategy with technological solutions
  • Experience in driving and achieving operational excellence and delivering results, and measuring efforts against goals
  • Excellent leadership skills, mentoring skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Undergraduate degree required
  • Some travel required (10%)
  • US work authorization
