Job Description
We are looking for an accountant with experience in consumer lending industry to join our Finance team. You will work closely with Finance Manager and Chief Operating Officer on a wide spectrum of work including financial reporting, ledger maintenance, accounts reconciliation, treasury, financing structure, vendor management and tax. Ideal candidate should be highly familiar with consumer lending accounting practice and possess strong financial analytical skill.
Detailed duties include but not limited to the following:
- Prepare quarterly and annual financial statement
- Work with Finance Manager and the executive team on annual audit
- Maintain general ledger
- Perform daily payment reconciliation
- In charge of processing customer’s payment and loan disbursement
- Work with investors to ensure the timely and accurate reconciliation of accounts receivable and accounts payable
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or higher Degree with business / economics/ accounting/ mathematics/engineering background
- 2+ years of experience in consumer lending industry
- 2+ years of experience in accounting
- A strong and structured communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to embrace unstructured environments and problems
