You’ll take on the role of our detailed and customer-focused Accounting Operations Specialist and work as part of the accounting team to ensure transactions are handled timely and accurately to facilitate financial reporting and support the operations and goals of the company.
What you’ll be doing:
- Accounts Receivable
- Accounts Payable
- Payroll
- Other
Responsible for the full accounts receivable cycle, including invoicing, collections, and posting receipts
Responsible for vendor onboarding, document management, and invoice processing, including coding, routing and payment.
Review employee expense reports for compliance with company policies and process reimbursement
Review and code credit card charges and ensure appropriate receipts are provided by cardholders
Responsible for preparing and processing biweekly payroll, including variable and one-time compensation.
Coordinate with the accounting team, People Operations and payroll vendor to ensure appropriate change management.
Manage payroll related tax notices and coordinate any related follow-up with the accounting team and payroll vendor.
Prepare general ledger journal entries as appropriate
Reconcile related balance sheet accounts
Act as a resource within the company for questions regarding payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Annual 1099 reporting
What we’re looking for:
- Hands-on experience performing Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Payroll operations
- Very detail oriented and organized individual with the aptitude to succeed in a high growth, dynamic environment
- Experienced and comfortable with the use of technology to facilitate operational processes, including solutions such as Concur, bill.com, etc.
