Accounts Receivable and Merchant Relations Specialist

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Accounts Receivable and Merchant Relations Specialist will be responsible for providing financial, administrative and clerical services in order to ensure effective, efficient and accurate financial and administrative operations. The Accounts Receivable and Merchant Relations Specialist is also expected to work closely with our clients and staff ensure compliance of established policies and procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES (Including but not limited to):
Accounts Receivable Specialist
● Prepare invoices in Quickbooks Online.
● Collect on accounts by sending bill reminders and communicating with customers via phone, email, fax or mail.
● Generate monthly report detailing unpaid which are 90 days past due post event.
● Record and receipting of payments
● Enabling sites once payments are received
● Track multi-year contracts and deposits due
● Reconcile monthly events in accounting to events in FileMaker
● Ad hoc reporting
● Assist with accounting duties at the office when Accounting Manager is out
● Responding to client’s e-mail regarding invoices
RESPONSIBILITIES (Including but not limited to):
Merchant Relations Specialist
· Onboarding of individual client merchant accounts to CardConnect
· Manage merchant account service tickets generated by CardConnect in merchant system
· Manage merchant account service tickets generated by customers and employees in ZenDesk
· Generate and maintain documentation regarding merchant accounts and merchant services
QUALIFICATIONS
● Desire to learn, grow and help our non-profit partners succeed
● Prior client facing experience preferred
● Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
● Effective communication skills both verbal and written
● Ability to make quick decisions
● Must be team focused and extremely organized
● Proficient with the use of computers (Mac based), iPads, new technologies
● Experience using Microsoft office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
● Experience with ZenDesk is a plus
● Experience in non-profit sector, customer service, event management or account management preferred but not required.
