We are looking for an Assistant Controller to join our Finance team and handle the day-to-day aspects of our accounting and finance functions. As the Assistant Controller, you will support all financial aspects of the company including core accounting functions, budgeting, modeling and analytics support of our sales and marketing departments. To be successful in this role, you will understand the demands of, and be adaptable to, a high-growth start-up environment. No task is too big or too small!

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own the monthly close process and prepare monthly financial reports
• Manage the Company’s annual external audits
• Act as the primary contact for bank relationship (debt covenants, etc.) and quarterly investor requests
• Administer the Company’s 401k plan
• Perform invoicing timely and accurately
• Monitor accounts receivable collections
• Ensure accounts payable are recorded and paid in a timely manner

Partner with the VP of Finance on the following:

• All aspects of the accounting function
• The annual budget process and preparing quarterly forecasts
• Provide financial analyses as needed
• Handle the company’s cash flow forecasting process
• Stay in compliance with local, state and federal government tax filings and regulatory reporting requirements
• Coordinate the preparation of corporate board presentations
• Manage the Company’s Cap Table

REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of professional experience, including a mix of experience in public accounting and industry is preferred
• Bachelor’s degree and CPA required
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills
• Comfortable with ambiguity, shifting priorities and general growth pains of an early-stage technology company
• Exceptional judgment
• “Roll-up-your-sleeves” entrepreneurial, start-up attitude
