Numerator is looking to grow its Accounting team in its Chicago headquarters by hiring a Bookkeeper. This individual should be able to efficiently multi-task as this position works cross-functionally within the organization.
Responsibilities:

• Prepare inter company invoices and related journal entries
• Perform monthly T&E expense audit and accruals
• Serve as backup for Accounts Payable activities
• Reconcile weekly cash sheet and monthly bank statements
• Apply cash receipts as needed
• Assist in the monthly close of the company's financial statements
• Work with other departments to ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
• Prepare supporting documentation and analytical information for external auditors
• Review and approve Salesforce opportunities as needed
• Assist with additional projects and daily tasks as needed

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 1 year of accounting experience in an office setting
• Proficient in MS Excel
• Familiarity with accounting terminology and procedures
• Good time management skills; ability to multi-task and meet critical deadlines
• Takes ownership of their assigned responsibilities
• High knowledge of GAAP principles
• Experience with NetSuite is a plus
