ThinkMarkets is seeking a Bookkeeper to join our finance team. This role will manage all Accounts Payable and company transactions, so the ideal candidate will be highly organized with a relentless attention to detail. Working at a fast-paced trading company means there’s a lot of financial data to interact with, so this is an integral role on our finance team, and you’ll be the main point of contact for all things Accounts Payable, P.O., and vendor related.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the P.O. process procedures are followed
• Record and organize bills from vendors and pay them in a timely manner
• Work with company financial statements, doing general ledger maintenance and bank reconciliations
• Maintain cash and accounts payable transactions
• Check and verify source documents such as invoices, receipts, and purchase orders
• Complete bank and credit card compliance and reconciliations
• Update and maintain accounting journals, ledgers and other records detailing financial business transactions
• Verify inventory equipment and leasing documents
• Check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in a bookkeeping role
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Sun, QuickBooks, Concur, Lightyear
• Ability to determine how an accounting system should work and how changes in conditions, operations, and the environment will affect outcomes
• Trading, financial and/or capital markets industry experience is strongly preferred
• Banking experience a plus
• Understanding GAAP principles
• Knowledge of International transactions and currency exchange rates
