About the Role:
As the Controller at Opternative, you will be the leader that helps takes the Accounting Team at Opternative to the next level. You will be responsible for managing A/P, A/R, Payroll, and all Accounting (monthly and quarterly close) and Reporting (bank, investors, internal) activities.
Additional Responsibilities:
• Lead all accounting and finance related efforts through the business
• Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual Budgeting and Forecasting
• Coordinate with Banking and Investing partners to ensure accurate reporting
• Lead internal process for annual audit and tax filings
• Manage corporate credit card program
Requirements:
• 4-6 years of applicable accounting experience, public accounting experience a plus
• CPA Required
• Self starter with positive attitude looking to make difference every day
• Solid computer skills with proficiency in MS Office required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
• Great attention to detail
• Ability to work independently in a fast paced, ever changing work environment
• Experience with Quickbooks, Intacct, or NetSuite
• Willingness to pick up tasks outside core accounting / finance areas as needed
