Lucky Lincoln Gaming, LLC is seeking an experienced finance professional to join a privately owned, fast-paced, and fast-growing, highly successful startup in Chicago! Responsibilities:

• Month-end close responsibilities

• Create line item budget, 2020 forecast, and department SOPs

• Maintain internal controls and financial procedures

• Oversee collections, vault processes, and route designations

• Own all aspects of financial reporting including monthly reports to CEO

• Responsible for job-costing reports and working with Human Resources on strategic hiring initiatives

• Coordinate audits and file tax returns

• Ensure financial function compliance

• Supervise or manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Received

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, mathematics, or actuarial sciences

• CPA

• 5+ years in financial role with demonstrated leadership growth

• Fluency in QuickBooks and other applications related to finance and accounting

• Senior experience in Accounts Payable, month-end duties, and reconciliation

• Thorough understanding of GAAP

• Advanced Excel Skills7

• Ability to collaborate and delegate as necessary

• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal skills

• Ability to analyze and extrapolate data

• Interpersonal effectiveness is a must

• Comfortable in a startup environment where no task is too big or too small

Would be Great but not Required:

• Accounting leadership experience strongly preferred

• Previously held Senior Accounting Manager or Financial Controller role

• CMA

• MBA

• Experience leading audits and budget forecasting

• Previous production of line item budget

• Experience preparing Quarterly Reports

• Startup or Big Four
