About the job

The Financial Planning & Analysis Reporting Lead will play a key role for the finance organization. In this strategic role you will be leading all NIQ financial communications. This role will proactively deliver communications grounded in storytelling and automated processes. You will be responsible for all internal and external financial presentations and reporting. The position reports directly to VP, Global FP&A Leader.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for all aspects of communications of financial reporting
• Prepare all Internal and External Reporting for all stakeholders including:
  • CEO, CFO, Private Equity, Board of Directors, Rating Agencies
• Partner with business finance teams to drive insights and value into financial reporting and presentations
• Prepare all Monthly and Quarterly Results
• Lead all communications for the Finance Transformation team that will center around automation, process improvement, and operating rhythm
• Lead Finance branding for Nielsen IQ
• Lead all External Finance Communications
• Partner with finance leaders on tactical and strategic initiatives and their communications (Free Cash Flow initiatives, Operating Plan process, new metrics/KPIs, etc)

About you

You are well rounded in corporate finance experience. You have the foundational financial background but you also have the ability to translate it all into conversation or presentations. You have the focus and attention to detail to ensure data integrity, while also being able to step back to see the big picture. You will drive the big picture vision in this role.

Qualifications

• Finance or Accounting Degree required
• 5+ years of corporate FP&A experience
• Experience working in private equity environment &/or investor relations preferred
• Experience building executive financial presentations
• Strong presentation and analytical skills 
• Ability to translate financial reporting into key insights for senior stakeholders.

Additional Information

While our employees are currently working remotely, once we are back to an in office work environment, this position will have a presence at our Chicago office.
