This position is responsible for leading all financial planning & reporting activities for PDL (>$3B net sales). Designing and executing the financial planning cycle (ensuring that the company's strategies and operational objectives are appropriately reflected in both Long-Range Plans, Annual Budget, Forecasts, and Latest Estimates). Responsible for timely analysis and reporting of period and quarterly results, with reporting both internal (to EB) and to Group (ExCo, BPP, Investor Relations). Leading a team of three managers/analysts. Position is responsible for aggregating IT and other admin department financial information, data gathering for establishing and maintaining capital and operating budgets for both IT and other admin departments and providing the PDL Senior Management with information intended to aid decision making. This position is viewed as a trusted source of information within PDL and the PDL organization at large, providing in-depth analysis and impacts of potential and realized financial decisions related to IT and other Admin annual operating and routine capital spend. Is responsible for the monthly consolidation of capital and expense target to actuals and forecasts specifically within the IT Project Portfolio and other Admin departments.
Recipe for Success - What's "in store" for the role

• Develop and execute the company's planning and reporting process, including LRP, annual budget, in-year forecast and latest estimates, and period/quarter business reporting.
• Work with PDL Finance Lead and PDL President to ensure appropriate financial targets are set (LRP/Budget) for all aspects of PDL - coordinating with the Finance organizations in each of the Brands, reflecting and driving the company's ambition in terms of sales growth, profitability, and cost efficiency.
• Work with Finance and Strategy teams across the Brands to ensure LRP and Budget appropriately reflect the company's eCommerce strategies and ambitions.
• Serve as a key financial partner in the Performance Management drumbeat within PDL and AD USA. Provide a clear understanding of results, with key drivers of performance, and actionable insights.
• Drive an efficient and meaningful Forecast and Latest Estimate (rolling forecast) process, that highlights key risks and opportunities, and drives potential mitigating or leaning-in actions.
• Drive strong partnerships across the Finance organization (Brands and RBS) that help gain a deep understanding of results and trends.
• Lead a team of 3 Finance Managers/Analysts and drive accountability and development.
• Drive process improvements and efficiencies. Balance short term daily deliverables with long term goals.
• Support Budget, Forecast, Projection, and LE processes.
• Prepare submission templates, work with Finance team across PDL to ensure timely submission of deliverables.
• Partner with IT Leaders and other admin departments to develop IT Portfolio budget and other department budgets and forecast that aligns with PDL priorities and provide the financial analysis to support decision making.

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
• 9+ years experience, preferably in finance, accounting or a related field

• Track capital spend throughout the FY to ensure requests mirror approved budget spend and escalate where deviation exists.
• Support monthly and Ad Hoc reporting needs.
• Support monthly close process activities.
• Produce monthly project variance reports and other reporting needs to PDL IT and other Admin Department Leadership and project owners.
• Develop standardized templates to ensure an efficient reporting process (tables, waterfall graphs, trend lines, etc.).
