The Director of Revenue Operations will lead our newly formed Revenue Operations function which will be responsible for informing and supporting our GTM strategy and decisions. Your organization will be focused on providing strategic decision support for Sales, Customer Success and Marketing as well as lay the foundation for streamlined operational processes. You will additionally be a critical partner in leading our enablement efforts which will be a driving force in developing and transforming our customer facing teams.

What are the core duties of this role? 

A Strong Vision for How To Build and Scale Operations Teams 

The Revenue Operations team at Relativity is a newly formed function. It will be important for the leader in this role to cast a clear vision how the team collaborates, builds processes, drives decisions and, ultimately, how it measures impact across Sales, Customer Success and Marketing. There is a huge opportunity to truly write the playbook for how this team creates value for the business.

 

People Developer 

The team will consist of managers and individual contributors with a mix of tenured employees and new hires. There is an incredible opportunity to set the tone for the team’s culture and values including the way you will invest in their development. A Highly Collaborative Strategic Thought Partner 

Sales, Customer Success and Marketing will be core stakeholders for this team. You and your team will need to invest enough time to understand the needs of each function deeply so that you can advise and drive improvement. Trust with each functional leader is of paramount importance and will be necessary to drive real change across the GTM teams. 

 

Passionate About Building Efficient and Enduring Business Processes 

Creating repeatable operational standards with limited exceptions will be incredibly important as we grow and expand our GTM teams. You should have a healthy respect for the details and a sincere passion for fixing problems at their root.

 

Be a Key Contributor to the COO’s Senior Leadership Team 

As a senior leader on the COO’s staff, you are expected to be able to meaningfully contribute to Relativity’s overall commercial strategy and how we run the Customer Group at Relativity.

Key Personal Qualities

  • You are a seasoned operational leader who has a track record of seeing initiatives through from strategic ideation to implementation 
  • You've had an opportunity to be a part of successful B2B commercial organizations and understand where to create value and drive efficiency
  • Have managed teams with a diverse set of skills ranging from technical, operational, analytical and strategic 
  • Can context shift where you can grasp and communicate big concepts yet sweat the minutia when it matters 
  • You're a seasoned hiring manager and have a proven process for identifying great talent

Preferred Qualifications

  • A proven go-getter with demonstrated ability to deliver on your commitments. 
  • 5-7 years in a strategy and/or operations leadership role 
  • Experience in B2B enterprise software
