If you don’t measure it, you won’t improve it. Buildout is looking for a Finance Operations Analyst to ensure that the numbers are right, reportable, and actionable.

Responsibilities

• Operations
  • Billing: Work with Buildout’s proprietary billing system to meet the needs of Customers, Sales, Client Services, Finance, and Accounting 
  • Payroll: Work with Accounting to process payroll through Paychex; work with Finance to calculate and process commissions and bonuses 
  • Expense Reports: Work with Expensify to ensure that employee and vendor expenses are paid, within policy, accounted for, and reportable
  • Receivables & Payables: Work with delinquent customers and manage vendor payments
  • Credit: Manage credit card and line of credit balances and payments

• Accounting / FP&A
  • Monthly Financials: Ensure Accounting has the back-up to close monthly financials optimized for monthly financial reporting
  • Annual Audit: Provide auditors with requested materials and back-up
  • LOC Reporting: Provide bankers with requested materials and back-up
  • Monthly Reporting: Work with Finance to complete and automate monthly and quarterly board reporting
  • Annual Budget: Collaborate with Finance and All Departments to deliver a bottom’s-up budget on a tight timeline

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree: Accounting, Finance, Business preferred
• 1-2 years of Operations experience as defined above
• Accounting and FP&A experience preferred, ideally someone who can clearly demonstrate this is the career path they are working toward 
• SaaS experience preferred
• Excel and modelling experience preferred
