Thoughtworks is a global software consultancy with an aim to create a positive impact on the world through technology. Our community of technologists thinks disruptively to deliver pragmatic solutions for our clients' most complex challenges. We are curious minds who come together as collaborative and inclusive teams to push boundaries, free to be ourselves and make our mark in tech.

You’ll spend time on the following:

  • As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for the monthly revenue recognition & results reporting, taking into account personnel and contract implications that influence the results.
  • Partner directly with the Market Director to identify opportunities to maximize revenue and client margin, including client expense management, pricing, and staffing analysis
  • Seek to improve processes and systems usage, including key performance indicators, financial analysis and data visualization enhancements

Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business
  • 1 - 2 years experience as a Financial Analyst (Professional Services/Consulting Firm experience a plus, but not required)
  • Working knowledge of major accounting principles such as revenue recognition rules and related balance sheet accounting
  • Ideally has experience with major ERP systems such as Oracle PeopleSoft, SAP, etc.
  • Demonstrated experience analyzing results, identifying drivers and trends, and building financial models
  • Ability to overcome roadblocks and managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Open and willing to design, implement, and maintain solutions to persistent problems or inefficiencies
