As the FP&A Manager, your mission is to help transform Collective Health’s Financial Planning and Analysis function. In doing so, you will closely collaborate with stakeholders from Sales, Marketing, Product, and Engineering (R&D). You will drive increased visibility into short term resource allocation and long term financial strategy. You have an opportunity to directly influence overall company strategies, interact with Collective Health’s senior leadership, all while scaling a tightly functioning FP&A organization. You must be intellectually curious, detail obsessed, and able to identify solutions to complex problems (frequently with limited or incomplete data), then roll-up your sleeves to drive implementation and track your work’s impact.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate directly with leadership, support monthly, quarterly, and annual budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Lead scenario planning process through ongoing headcount management and expense planning
  • Coordinate day-to-day management of our Adaptive Insights financial planning tool
  • Develop reporting and architecture for new product P&Ls
  • Identify new systems, tools, and processes to scale your support
  • Run monthly close meetings with leadership to review items such as Budget vs Actuals; Identify key trends and variances to drive prioritization
  • Lead key cross-functional initiatives from start to finish
  • Develop financial and unit economic models leading to key insights, driving efficiency in cost allocation and utilization
  • Readily partner and innovate with our business operations and strategy leaders
  • Develop recurring reporting including dashboards, monthly metrics, and Board materials
  • Special projects for the CFO

Requirements:

  • Experience with hosted Planning solutions and ERP solutions. We use Adaptive Planning and Netsuite
  • 5+ years applicable work experience in a high growth environment, preferably in technology or healthcare
  • Experienced MS excel skills - candidate should be comfortable with financial modeling and working with large amounts of data
  • Familiarity with GAAP (Accruals, COGS, and Capitalization versus Expense) a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including outstanding excel and PowerPoint skills to convey data and storylines
  • Ability to drive large-scale planning processes that involve multiple departmental partners
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • The desire to improve broken processes and make your own job easier over time
