Job Description:

This role will be an opportunity for a talented and seasoned finance executive to lead all aspects of the finance department. The individual will be a trusted member of the leadership team, known for being poised, optimistic, and knowledgeable. They will develop meaningful relationships with other members of that team, understanding the nuances of all major functional areas. Using this understanding and their professional experience, they will work with other leaders to ensure short term strategic objectives are tied back to our long-term growth goals and that the business is positioned for success in both. Finally, we are looking for someone who will thrive in a high-growth company and that shares our genuine passion for improving the lives and health of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

⦁ Understand our long-term growth goals, be able to articulate the needs of the business as we grow, and design/articulate the financial strategy to get us there.

⦁ Drive business, financial, and operational planning for the company, serving as a key planning partner to leaders across the business through authentic interest in the challenges they face.

⦁ Own preparation and analysis of budgets, forecasts, and financial updates, including presenting financial narratives, metrics, and recommendations to business partners

⦁ Take an active role in decisions related to strategic investments, new business initiatives, partnerships, pricing, and other ad hoc programs; develop concise recommendations supported by detailed financial models and thoughtful analyses.

⦁ Proactively monitor trends to identify risks and opportunities across key revenue and expense categories; make recommendations to keep performance on track as appropriate.

⦁ Leverage technology to streamline financial reporting, planning, and finance operations processes to enable less time preparing numbers and building presentations and more time thinking critically about results, providing insights, and driving value.

⦁ Establish credibility and trust across the organization; challenge the team in a constructive manner to make the business better.

⦁ Provides exceptional team leadership with a focus on employee engagement, development, retention, and attracting top talent into the organization.

Requirements

Qualifications:

⦁ 10+ years of relevant financial management experience with minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.

⦁ Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field. MBA or CPA preferred.

⦁ Strong business and financial acumen. Proven experience driving business performance in a high growth environment. Always looking for opportunities across domains to improve and grow the business.

⦁ Ability to anticipate planning, forecasting, and operational issues; determine the impact, and develop and implement an appropriate action plan.

⦁ Excellent communication skills; ability to connect with and influence internal and external stakeholders.

⦁ Strong executor. Establishes aggressive goals and delivers results. Able to facilitate quick and data-based decisions and ensure accountability for execution.

⦁ Desire and ability to "roll up your sleeves" to learn the business and drive business results.

⦁ Exceptional leadership skills.

⦁ Demonstrated ability to recruit, develop and retain top financial talent. Strong coach and mentor within the finance team and across the organization. Inspirational leader that people would follow to their next company.

Preferred

⦁ Finance leadership role at a high-growth healthcare company where change is constant and triple digit annual growth is the norm. Experience in consumer (retail, subscription, etc.) or technology businesses also valuable.

⦁ Experience scaling a finance operation to maturity, both human capital and software.

⦁ Experience with modern finance technology solutions / tech stack.
