The Position
The Jr. Accountant - Revenue Management position will be a key member of a growing team. The Jr. Accountant - Revenue Management position is responsible for supporting the Senior Financial Analyst - Revenue Management in revenue topics including revenue recognition and billing operations.
Reports to: Senior Financial Analyst - Revenue Management
Status: Newly created role
Anticipated start date: Immediately
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure processes are executed in a timely and accurate manner including the monthly revenue close process
- Ad hoc revenue recognition and billing operations analysis
- Identify and communicate revenue related process improvement opportunities
- Ensure compliance with internal controls over revenue related processes
- Other duties as assigned by management
Experience and Skills:
Education & Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
- CPA or progress towards a CPA required
- 1-2 years of experience in accounting roles (Big 4 or corporate experience desired)
- Previous work experience in general accounting duties and account reconciliations
- Intermediate to advanced level experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
