We are looking for a Project and Payroll Accountant who will support various on-going projects and initiatives within our finance group. This role will also oversee and manage payroll processing & 401(k) administration.

What you’ll do:

  • Prepare various accruals and journal entries to support month-end close deliverables
  • Assist with general ledger and reporting implementation projects
  • Prepare schedules and collaborate with external parties to support financial statement audits
  • Assist with annual budget and quarterly re-forecasting
  • Track and manage company credit card expenses, charitable contributions and tuition reimbursements
  • Maintain and develop candidate reimbursement process & policies
  • Monitor and analyze travel and recruiting expenses
  • Identify system improvements and process improvements as it relates to on-going projects & initiatives
  • Demonstrate high level of ownership and precision in processing a semi-monthly payroll
  • Support/resolve employee payroll and 401(k) questions in timely and effective manner
  • Develop and maintain user instructions, procedures and documentation for payroll, 401(k) and special projects
  • Demonstrate high level of professionalism when handling sensitive employee information
  • Cross-train with other finance team members periodically
  • Support Finance team with various ad-hoc projects
  • Partner with HR team to support on-going initiatives, streamline processes, etc.

What you’ll need:

  • 5-7 years experience in related role
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent prioritization and time management skills
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now and/or Fidelity is a plus
