What does a work environment look like at Vouch?
Vouch has a 3-HQ model: Office-Based, Office-Linked, and Remote-First. This role is Office Linked, which means that team members must live within a 2-3 hour commute from one of our main offices (SF or Chicago). Expectation will be that team members can easily come into the office on a project-by-project / case-by-case basis.
Role Responsibilities:
Vouch is looking for an experienced Sales Operations Manager with a proven track record in aligning sales strategies in a B2B SaaS environment, someone who is excited about building a new and evolving function from the ground up. This team member will be a trusted thought partner and key influencer in how we scale the business in 2021 and beyond.
Reporting to the Operations Director, the Sales Operations Manager is responsible for Vouch’s sales and customer success strategies across the end-to-end customer life cycle, with a focus on operations management, tooling, L&D, and analytics. You will thrive in this role if you are excited about simplifying and continuously improving our E2E sales process, driving performance through tooling enhancements and the adoption of best practices throughout the organization.
Job Duties:
- Partner closely with Vouch’s Sales Leadership to understand performance and drive efficiency through critical sales analytics, including pipeline/ funnel management, forecasts, retention, etc.
- Identify data requirements, tooling, and instrumentation needed to enable best-in-class Sales Ops analytics and reporting
- Provide operational support and insight to sales team across a wide variety of ad hoc topics, including account segmentation, sales motion enhancements, etc.
- Drive measurement and reporting of performance against targets to surface key insights and identify opportunities for growth
- Own Salesforce roadmap and backlog at Vouch; ensure data within our systems is accurate and up to date, identify gaps, and drive improvements
- Drive the tech stack roadmap for Vouch’s Sales and Success teams, with an eye toward improving efficiency and eliminating manual tasks
- Partner with Vouch’s Sales Enablement Lead to drive the learning & development agenda and implementation of new systems/ processes
- Partner with Finance on the design/ management of compensation plans
- Establish credibility and influence with cross-functional stakeholders in Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Product & Engineering, and Finance
About you:
- 2-5 years of experience focused on Sales, Marketing, and/ or Success operations
- Working knowledge and experience in Revenue Operations within a SaaS company
- Expert in optimizing Salesforce and implementing/integrating other Sales Ops tools within a quickly scaling environment
- Strong attention to detail with experience in using data/ analytics to drive strategic decision-making (familiar with SQL and BI tools like Looker)
- Experienced problem-solver with strong process orientation and attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in an ambiguous, high-growth, fast-paced startup environment
- Ability to collaborate and influence at all levels of the company, from individual contributors to Senior Leadership team members
Nice to have:
- Exposure to and passion for early-stage startups and/or high growth environments
- A background in insurance or other regulated categories
- Experience with tools such as Stripe, Intercom, Salesloft, Zendesk, Zapier, Autopilot, Jira, Gong, and Retool
