Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Reports to the Head of Consultant relations and plays a key role in the firm's institutional distribution efforts, and the team's mission to broaden the firm's mindshare among the institutional consultant community.
  • Maintains our presence on institutional consultant databases such as eVestment, InvestorForce, and proprietary databases.
  • Ensures prompt, accurate completion of quarterly and monthly consultant Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs).
  • Responds to Requests For Proposals (RFPs), placing the firm in the best possible competitive position.
  • Responds promptly and accurately to information requests from consultants.
  • Assists team members and designated Portfolio Managers with meeting preparation, materials and logistics, and participates in meetings, as needed.
  • Guides, assists, and works alongside the more junior Consultant Relations Associate in the completion of all related tasks.
  • Performs other tasks, as needed, to execute the firm's institutional distribution strategy.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Investment industry experience and conversational knowledge of equity and fixed income asset classes.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred (preferably in Finance or related Business field).
  • Experience working with institutional consultants highly desired.
  • Familiarity and experience populating institutional databases such as eVestment/Omni, Investorforce.
  • Highly proficient per Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Advent a plus.
  • Familiarity and experience completing Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs) and Requests For Proposals (RFPs).
  • Ability to work with, and draw information from, Portfolio Managers and other investment professionals.
  • Detail-oriented; works quickly and accurately to meet deadlines.
  • Can-do attitude; flexible and adaptable team player with a positive attitude.
